Foodie Road Trip Day 4

Today I do not have any true culinary experiences to share with you. We spent the morning at Patriot’s Point in Mt. Pleasant which was a great experience. We then rushed back into to, and as football fanatics, looked for a bar to watch the Miami Dolphins play the Jaguars. We ended up at the Charleston Brewing Company on King Street. Nothing Southern about the food – just a regular sports bar, but there are over 20 tv’s, and they have the NFL package, so fans from several teams gathers to cheer and drink a variety of beer options like the locally brewed “Coast.”   I guess all of the heavy sauces and meals are catching up to us, as we only ate once today – some wings, chips and tater tots while watching the game.  We’re going to try to “walk it off” tonight, to open our appetites up for our arrival in Savannah tomorrow.
